A Living Room inspired by love of travel, books, and photography.

Over the past few years  I have been in different homes and have listened to clients describe their desire to have a beautiful room to entertain their friends and family as well as a room that showcases items collected over the years, photos, and other heirlooms.  It seems to be a common challenge to combine the sentimental with the functional.

When I met with this homeowner she had a clear vision of what she wanted.  A room that was not only beautiful but full of her families sentimental treasures.   I loved working on this room but it required a lot of patience as we worked with lay-out, wall color, purchasing accent furniture, and incorporating the homeowner's items into a beautiful picture of who the family is and what they love.  It is always a challenge but I am proud of how we were able to reflect the homeowner's love for travel, books, and photography as well as her love of order and design.
