Decorating with Food!

This past November, I was asked to help decorate at the Taylor Thanksgiving Chapel.   We had the idea to do a fruit and vegetable bar since it is so popular at weddings and parties right now.  It was a blast to work with food and I love how it all came together.  They decided to donate all the food to a local food shelter after the chapel so it was all for a good cause as well.   As some of you know, I don't love lots of the foods I was working with, however, I do find lots of inspiration by looking at all the colors and shapes in these gorgeous foods.  What about you...What grabs your attention?  I love the different shades of green we find in food; from the deep artichokes, to the yellowy green pears to the bright limes.  It's amazing that when God created the world, he put all of this color and beauty into the design of the food that we eat everyday that gives us life.   Hope you are inspired too.  Call me if you need a color consult to spice up your home!
