A few years ago, I donated a free consultation to a local charity auction.  When I made that donation, I had no idea that it would be the start to a great working relationship that has lasted several years.  I have said before that having repeat clients is very rewarding and one of my favorite aspects to my job.   When I met this couple, they were pregnant with their first baby and now they are eagerly awaiting baby number 2 to arrive!  Of course, they wanted to create a calm and relaxing space to retreat to at the end of the busy days that having 2 preschoolers can create.

I love how the curtains pick up the golden tan from the comforter!

Dresser Wall Before

A good way to update this furniture would be to buy a new mirror to put above the dresser to break up the matchy matchy furniture.  I am still looking for the perfect one for here!

The Makeover started with a new  wall color over a year ago followed by a new bed (love it) and  bedding.  Then last month I was able to finish staging and accessorizing the space.  All together,  this master bedroom received a new coat of paint (sorry the before pictures are after I painted), a new bed, lamps, bedding, curtains, artwork and accessories.  I love how it all came together!  I still have a few things to finish in the room but since this client lives almost an hour away, I thought I would post the pictures that I have for now.
